Pallet trucks are used to lift and transport heavy loads both indoors and outdoors. The rollers which they use need to be high-quality, robust and extremely wear-resistant.

That goes for all industrial trucks. Rollers for pallet trucks are also used for forklift trucks. Essentially, they are used for any application which involves moving and transporting loads either manually or using an electric drive system. Transport vehicles also use a number of other wheel types, including forklift truck wheels, front wheels, running wheels, heavy duty wheels, drive wheels and stabilisation springs.

Various treads to suit your individual needs

Different applications require different rollers. The castor you should choose depends to a large extent on external factors, such as the condition of the indoor or outdoor surface, or whether the vehicle is driven manually or electrically. This has an impact on characteristics like dynamic load capacity, resistance to environmental factors, marking behaviour and noise levels. We provide a wide range of products to meet all of these requirements.

We manufacture wheels and castors for industrial trucks using a variety of tread materials and wheel centre materials. Each material has specific features which meet different requirements. We make castors for pallet trucks using polyurethane treads or nylon. An additional version with an elastic solid rubber tread is available for front wheels. Polyurethane and elastic solid rubber versions are available for drive wheels, forklift truck wheels and running wheels. Polyurethane treads are highly abrasion-resistant, have a high resistance to cut and tear propagation and are non-marking. Elastic solid rubber wheels are also quiet and abrasion-resistant while providing operational comfort and very good floor preservation properties.

Passive rollers for pallet trucks are available in sizes between 60 and 90 mm diameter, while the actively driven forklift trucks have wheel diameters in excess of 100 mm. They have a load capacity of up to 1,200 kg.
